Introduction

In October 2024, I had the chance to leave my little corner of Christchurch and head to the Best Awards with an amazing slew of people from around the country. But what I was really grateful for, and what I wanted to focus on, was giving back to a few key people who helped me get this far. The goal was quite simple and earnest in nature: I wanted to design and create gifts for a few special folk of the Media Design School faculty. That night and experience was as much about me, the current students and the alumni who were put forward as it was about them and all that they do.

N.B. This project was self directed and not produced, commissioned or organized by Media Design School themselves, this was simply a project in which I wanted to express my gratitude in the way a designer best can, with their creative skillset.
