Introduction

In October of 2024 I got the chance to pop up from my little nook in Christchurch to the Best Awards with a slew of incredible people from across the country. But the biggest thing I’m grateful for and wanted to do was to give a few things to some people who enabled me to get this far. The goal was quite simple and earnest in nature, I wanted to design and produce some gifts for a few special people from the faculty at Media Design School. That night and experience was as much about me, the current students and the alumni who were put forward as it was about them and all that they do.

N.B. This project was self directed and not produced, commissioned or organized by Media Design School themselves, this was simply a project in which I wanted to express my gratitude in the way a designer best can, with their creative skillset.
